GTMS Food Drive | March 10 – 17

This year our Food Drive will benefit Philadelphia’s SHARE Food Program. SHARE provides a reliable stream of nutritious food to a network of 505 local volunteer-fed food cupboards. In addition to providing emergency food relief, SHARE also runs a community garden, providing residents in the surrounding community with increased access to local produce. Last year, SHARE brought 27 million pounds of emergency food relief to low-income Philadelphia residents facing hunger.

All next week (March 10 – 17), please bring non-perishable food items to donation boxes located at the school entrance, 55 N. 22nd Street. For suggestions on what to donate please see SHARE provided list. Once the Food Drive is over, our Kindergarteners will help sort the donations.
