Construction Update, Email, 5/20/19

Dear families,

I’m pleased to let you know that children at Greene Towne’s West Campus are at this moment enjoying the gardens and outside time in the Courtyard. Here’s the latest info on the construction project in the lot adjoining the West Campus.

US Construction has changed the sequence of their project to move away from the south side of their lot and have taken steps to provide safety barriers along our shared border. The first of these is a “parapet,” a 4 foot wall on the roof on the south and street side of the nearest townhouse roof. Over the next week, US Construction will also be installing scaffolding and netting, that will be in place prior to their upcoming roofing and facade work on the townhouse closest to our property line.

Croskey Street is closed today for PWD work. We are not always informed in advance of plans to close Croskey Street, but when we are notified in advance we will pass that information on to families.
