Spindle boxes, playdough, Sensorial extensions, colors in the environment, stories, stories, stories, leaf creatures!
“No Bad Weather, Only Bad Clothing”
We sure had some unseasonably warm days in November and December, to be sure, but now it’s time for all the warm outerwear! Please make sure your child will be comfortable outside every day, no matter the weather (even rain can sometimes let up for our window of play time, so please assume we will always go out!) Gloves/mittens, socks that cover the ankles (it gets windy on the play deck!), hoods or hats, and, whenever there is still any amount of snow, warm waterproof footwear and snow pants! It really is wonderful for children to be able to play on and with the snow without worry of getting their clothes wet.
