Auction Blog (Desiree McNeill)

Hello Parents,

This year’s auction project was inspired by the book Octopus’s garden in the Shade. From the beginning of this school year the children fell in love with the book and song. We would have random dance parties a couple times a week while playing  the song. For their pictures we asked the children to pretend they are flying like in movement class with Mr. Julian. They enjoy taking off their shoes and mask one at a time to pose for the pictures. Creating this piece was a joyful experience.
