Hello Parents,

April was filled with lots of events and activities. The children planted seeds and dug for worms with Ms. Erika and Ms. Sweeney-Denham. They made Cherry Blossoms and worked on Easter crafts.

We continued to work on our auction project.

The children are engaging in multi-step work like salt grinding, the Pink Tower, and washing/polishing the leaves of the many plants in our classroom. These extensions are important in further developing concentration.

“Concentration is the key that opens up to the child the latent treasures within him.” (Maria Montessori)

Thank you for participating in the scavenger hunt during spring break. The children were very excited to discuss and view the items found with a magnifying glass.

Here are some dates to remember:

Saturday, May 14th-Auction walk thru link (rain date Sunday, May 16th)
